History

Way back in 1983, Mr Dattatraya Wedhikar, a man with the vision to look beyond the horizon, envisaged the demand for precision auto components and assemblies and setup DATSONS ENGINEERING WORKS at Bhosari, Pune to manufacture Sheet Metal Press Components for TATA MOTORS LTD. Since then it has grown manifolds to become a big company, led by Mr. R.D.wedhikar.

The exponential growth in the business created need for expansion and therefore in 1996, another manufacturing unit named MUDRA INDUSTRIES was set. Reputed organizations like:

TATA MOTORS RAP (Tenneco Group) SIEMENS AUTOMOTIVE MAHLE FILTERS SYSTEM	TATA YUTAKA AUTOCOMP GABRIEL INDIA (ANAND GROUP) BHER INDIA (ANAND GROUP) have laid trust in Datsons and Mudra.

Mudra industries at Chakan, Pune

We further expanded our capacity in Dec. 2004, by setting up Mudra Industries at Chakan, Pune ( A growing industrial area. 20 km away from Datsons Engg.). It is spread over area of 8,000 Sq Feet. Having manpower of 18 employees here we specially assemble shock absorber (Damper Assembly) for Gabriel India Ltd.

We at present

We are mainly located at Bhosari, the industrial zone of Pune, the automobile capital of India. We are spread in an area of 20000 Sq Feet (1860 Sq Meter) with built up are of 16000 Sq Feet ( 1488 Sq Meter). We are the artist in Manufacturing Sheet Metal Press Component and assemblies mainly for Automobile as well as electrical Industries. We have incorporated Tool Room facility. Today we are a family of 70 employees with well qualified engineers.

Presently we are in the process of setting up Mudra Autolines Pvt. Ltd. Spread in an area of 15,000 Sq feet located at Chakan, very close to Siemens Automotive and Gabriel India Ltd.

Very soon we will setup one more unit Datsons Stampings Pvt. Ltd. Spread in an area of 40,000 Sq feet (3718 Sq meter) located at Pirangut, 40 km away from Datsons Engg., Bhosari.
